Liquid Metal Technologies (LMT) was established in 2004 in Sydney.
We use a unique and patented technology providing decorative metal finishes – applied in a liquefied form.
Our decorative metal finishes can be applied to almost any surface to leave it looking like metal. There are many applications for metal finishes, but many people find sheet metal either too expensive or restrictive in use (e.g. can’t coat a figurine).
We offer more than 800 finishes, ranging from mirror shiny to brush-applied 3D textures, which create stunning effects on panels and architectural pieces.
The finishes are a perfect solution for a wide range of bespoke architectural projects (e.g. chandeliers, statues, furniture), interior finishing (e.g. kitchens, bathrooms), exterior finishing (e.g. cladding, garage doors, fences, landscape design) for any design and building projects.
LMT is a full-service offering from quotation through to delivery (if required) with most of our work to be completed within 1-2 weeks.
LMT finishes have passed the sun, ultraviolet light, salt spray and 25-year immersion tests so are durable, non-toxic, can oxidize and patina like real metals and can even be waterproofed.
We are very cost-effective when compared to standard sheet metal alternatives – up to 25% (finish dependent) on small jobs and anywhere from 250% up on large scale/volume jobs.

Our mission is to achieve your vision with any given surface using a fusion of creativity, art and science. We listen to your brief and supply a number of samples for your review, iron out any revisions and then get to work creating the final masterpiece on any door, furniture, wall, ceiling or panel.
Although experienced in the art of metal finishing, the processes and finishes, we truly believe it’s important that our clients are listened too, and their design brief followed exactly to achieve their desired outcome.
We are artists and your surface become our canvas. We take our inspiration from nature and architecture. We supply semi-precious metal coatings with 0% VOC’s.
